Pillow Mapping™

Pillow Mapping™ · by Sanctuary Sleep

See what your pillow is actually doing.

Pillow Mapping uses pressure-sensing technology to visualize how your head and neck interact with your pillow, so support adjustments can be seen, compared, and felt instead of simply guessed.

For Individuals

Understand Your Pillow

Your pillow may feel soft, firm, fluffy or flat, but those descriptions don't show how your head and neck are actually interacting with it. Pillow Mapping creates a visual map of that interaction. We compare different setups while you tell us what feels most comfortable to you.

For Providers & Clinicians

Bring Pillow Support Into View

Patients describe pillows as too high, too low, too soft, or simply uncomfortable. Pillow Mapping offers a visual way to observe and compare head and neck contact across pillow configurations while capturing the person's own comfort response.

  4. Feel

See the support. Then adjust it.

Softness is what you feel.
Lift is what holds you.

Pillow Mapping helps us visualize what's happening between you and your pillow. Crown Lift® gives us a way to adjust the support without necessarily replacing the pillow you already love.

During a mapping session, different support configurations can be tested and compared. Crown Lift's adjustable LiftCore system lets us change lift and firmness, map the new configuration, and record how you say it feels.

How it works

Measure. Adjust. Re-measure. Compare.

A simple, repeatable process. Your comfort feedback matters as much as the map.
  1. 01

Lie down on your pillow in your normal sleep position.

  2. 02

We capture a settled pressure/contact map.

  3. 03

We observe the contact pattern and record your comfort feedback.

  4. 04

We adjust one variable at a time.

  5. 05

    We map again.

  6. 06

We compare the maps and your feedback.

The Pillow Lab

We're learning from every map.

We don't diagnose. We measure.

We don't assume. We test.

And we listen when people say something doesn't feel right.
